How much power do I need?

The amount of electrical output needed – in essence the "size" of the generator – is primarily based upon the amount of lifestyle disruption one is willing to endure. In many cases, customers may desire a generator that supplies only the minimal amount of power required to run basic home essentials such as well water, heating, lighting, and refrigeration. In other cases, virtually no inconvenience is desired. Generally speaking, the more disruption that can be tolerated, the lower the total cost will be.
