Letter from Kohler re: Delays

Since 1920, KOHLER has taken pride in the role our products play in the safety, health, and comfort of
our customers. We are honored that you have selected KOHLER for your home standby power needs.
Beginning in mid-2020, there has been unprecedented demand for standby generators throughout North
America. Regions hard hit by devastating storms and wildfires along with the wide-ranging impacts of
COVID-19 have combined to extend our production and delivery timelines. Unfortunately, these
extended production and delivery timelines have resulted in installation delays for our customers.
In recent months, Kohler has implemented significant business enhancements to substantially boost
production output in our US manufacturing locations without sacrificing the KOHLER quality our
customers expect. With our increased production, our goal is to reduce our lead times in the months
ahead. Despite these improvements, we do expect to continue encountering unpredictable freight and
logistics obstacles as a direct result of the pandemic and will continue to do our best to minimize these
disruptions.
Kohler understands the importance of standby power to the safety and security of your home. We are
